Mr - worried my blood test results mean I have myeloma

Hi I am worried my blood test result shows elevated paraprotein level. it is suspected myeloma. further test is underway and i got some results. bone marrow test is scheduled. i feel symptoms match with myeloma. please help me with information.

    I'm sorry about what you are going through right now. Waiting to have tests and then waiting for results can be incredibly stressful.

    Paraproteins are abnormal proteins produced by plasma cells in the blood. An elevated level of paraprotein can sometimes indicate myeloma which is a type of blood cancer. However, it's important to know that paraproteins can also be present in other less serious conditions like MGUS ( monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance ) which often doesn't cause symptoms and doesn't always progress to myeloma.

    Easier said than done but try and take things one step at a time until you know more.
