  • Dear Alyson,

I can appreciate that it is a lot to take in and process right now. Hopefully you will have access to a hospital clinical nurse specialist (CNS) that can help guide you through the treatment experience, and answer any questions that you will have, as they arise.

There are UK organisations specifically for people with brain tumours, and they provide online information. The Brain Tumour charity also offers online support for people.

Another organisation Brain Tumour Support help people that are newly diagnosed and run online Zoom support meetings. They can also help regarding practical and financial issues, and have a specialised support team for patients, their families, and friends. They also organise face to face support and have different ways of support including a Facebook group.

I hope that this reply helps,

    Kind regards,

    Vanda
