Hello and thanks for your post, I am sorry to hear about your situation.

I am not sure why you were prescribed antibiotics in the first place, if it is because you had an infection it may be that you need a different type of antibiotic to clear the infection if one is present.

Your breast care nurse may also want to examine your wound to see if it is all healing, particularly as you have noticed a smell. It may be a good idea to take your temperature as well.

Try not to worry too much, these things can happen after surgery but it is always a good idea to let a member of your team know.
