  • Hi there and thanks for the post

I am sorry to hear you are currently having chemo and not feeling quite your normal self.

Everyone is different when it comes to treatment and side effects. There is no right or wrong way to feel during treatment but if you felt unsafe driving it is good you listened to your body and turned back.

Do let your specialist doctor or nurse know about how you are feeling so they can assess you properly.

In terms of ongoing treatment if you are Her2 positive and having trastuzumab this is given intravenously and not available in tablet form, i'm afraid.

I wish you all the best moving forward and hope the rest of your treatment goes well.

Please get back to us if you need any more information or support.  You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline.  The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Take care

    Naomi
