I am sorry to hear about your situation.

Wound healing can take some time, and hopefully the antibiotics will help with this. Sometimes different wound care products can be tried to help. Your team may seek the advice of a hospital tissue viability nurse, who can advise on specific wound dressings to encourage healing.

Thank you for your reply. I went for a wound dressing yesterday and they reassured me that there was no infection. The yellow I was worried about was just the scab trying to form. It's taking time as this small part of the wound is still a bit wet. They have now dressed with an inadine dressing, to help healing.
