I am sorry to hear about your wife’s diagnosis and appreciate what a difficult time this must be for you both.

UPSC stands for uterine papillary serous carcinoma. Your wife's hospital team is best suited to inform you about her prognosis, as it can depend on many factors, such as the grade and stage of cancer, as well as how well she responds to treatment.

Everyone  copes  with a cancer diagnosis differently; there is no one right way to deal with it.

The hospital where your wife is being treated may  have a cancer information and support centre, sometimes these are run by the hospital or Macmillan Cancer Support. 

Macmillan    have also teamed with BUPA to offer free counselling for cancer patients.

Maggie's  can provide support and information to people affected by cancer. Many of their centres have trained psychologists who can provide one-to-one or group counselling. You do not need to live near a centre. They can provide support over the phone.

Also, your wife may have a clinical nurse specialist who is part of their medical team. They can provide information and support and will know about any other local help for your friend.

Womb Cancer Support  offer support and advice and have a private support group available on Facebook where you can chat in private to other women affected by womb cancer.

Peaches Womb Cancer Trust / is a UK charity run by researchers, doctors, and nurses. Their aim is to preserve the health and improve the experience of those with or at risk of womb cancer and their families. They offer support, promote awareness and aim to fund research for womb cancer.
