I'm sorry you are worried about a scab that will not heal.
We would always suggest making an appointment to see your GP to have the scab assessed. Doctors are very experienced at looking at skin conditions. They will be able to examine you and tell you what they think. If necessary, they may consider referring you to a dermatologist (skin specialist).
Most of the time, these things may be nothing to worry about, but its sensible to get it checked just to be on the safe side.
