Most skin issues are straight forward, and not cancer and are easily explained. Do make an appointment to see your GP to find out more, as it makes sense to get checked out for peace of mind. While you wait for your GP appointment, ask the advice of your local pharmacist, who can suggest some short term creams to try first in the meantime. They may clear it up in fact. If they don't, then you can tell your GP what has been tried already.
