Hello and thanks for posting
I'm sorry to read about your breast cancer diagnosis. This sounds like a tough time for you.
A primary cancer is a general term that doctors use to describe where your cancer started.
Stage 2 invasive lobular breast cancer means that the cancer is still early and may have spread to nearby lymph nodes. This cancer started in the cells that line the lobules and has spread into the surrounding breast tissue. The lobules are the glands that make milk when breastfeeding.
We do have information about lobular breast cancer and how it is treated on our website that you may find useful. Breast Cancer Now has some further information on its website.
I hope this helps. Please get back to us if you would like more information or support. You may prefer to speak with one of our nurses on the helpline. The freephone number to ring is 0808 800 4040 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Kind regards,
Celene
