Hi, 

I had LLETZ 10 weeks ago. I bled for the first 4 weeks and then it just kind of stopped. I’ve had a couple of smaller bleeds since then but wasn’t sure if they were periods or not (I have a coil so haven’t actually had a period for years!). I started bleeding again over the weekend and it feels very similar to after the procedure, accompanied by the stabbing pain I was getting in my abdomen and I’m very tired. Again, not sure if it’s a ‘period’ or something I should be concerned about? Is it normal to start bleeding again like this after so long? There’s no obvious sign of infection but I have been having a heavy discharge so I’m not sure if everything is a little unbalanced down there. 

Is it normal to bleed again so long after the treatment?
