Just found out today tgat there is more treatment to follow. My husband is genetically high risk. Naive but we thought there was no more treatment... just monitoring. Very upset.
I am sorry to hear that your husband is to have yet more treatment. I can understand how tough going through a stem cell transplant for you both must have been.
I am not sure what type of cancer your husband has had but do talk this through with your husband's specialist nurse or his doctor so they can explain more about why this may be needed.
The doctors and nurses were probably waiting to see how your husband was before they broached the subject of additional treatment with you both. I can understand how hard this must be when your husband has had so much already.
