I have pain in my right side, feeling tired all the time and weight loss.
I have to wait 2 weeks for a blood test and I am convinced I have liver cancer.
I don't know what to do about speeding things up so I can get a diagnosis.

Hi there and thanks for posting
I am sorry to hear about the symptoms you have and concerns this may be due to cancer. I have to say symptoms can have a range of causes and most won't be the result of a cancer, whilst you can google symptoms and cancer may come up as one possibility, google cannot diagnose you.
I'm afraid it can take time for tests to be carried out but it sounds like you have spoken with your doctor who has requested some bloods to be carried out first. If they come back abnormal then your doctor can then decide what other tests/referrals may need to be arranged for you.
If you are worried I suggest speaking with your doctor again to see if they can arrange emergency bloods for you. However if they have assessed you and don't feel this warrants a fast track referral then this may not be possible.
I'm sorry we can't be of more help on this occasion and that you know more abut your situation soon.
Please get back to us if you need any more information or support. You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Best wishes
Naomi
