It can be a worry to be told you need to be seen at the breast clinic. However, please know that the majority of people seen there will not have cancer.

Be reassured that your GP has done the right thing. There can be many reasons for breast lumps so do not presume you have cancer.

It might help to understand more about what happens at a breast clinic appointment.
