My partner had a liver biopsy last Tuesday 10th Sept. Had call on the thur saying will get appointment letter within next 2 days. Had to call hospital on the Monday chasing it . They didn't have one ready but have now given us 4th Oct. Does this seem a long wait?

    Sadly not - it should be quicker but that’s quicker than the current average. I recently worked at a hospital were there wss a 3 week backlog of similar biopsy results due to staff shortages which have been getting worse for 15 years.
