Do speak to the hospital team about any concerns that you have about the length of time that your Mum has been in theatre. Hopefully, they will be able to give you some reassurance.

Hopefully, you have now found out a bit more about her situation, since you posted here. If you are her next of kin, or she has given her consent for you to do so, you should be able to speak with her hospital doctor or nurse about this.
