Can't pull my skin back on penis

Hi wonderful if anyone cam help, I cant pull my skin back on my penis, worried it could been "C".

It's been like it for around 4 weeks now, my GP prescription me Daktarin 2% cream miconazole nitrate. It's made no difference,  my skin looks like it's split in places, like I have large blister, have few little white spots on my penis area where we pee out, can't pee in straight direction, sore, painful when trying to pull skin. Don't know what to do.

We only have 1 GP in our seguary  and a sikh female doctor,  I'm sikh male, I've spoken with her over the phone, but not able to see her face2face. Been sane religious back ground I can't show her my penis. But now can't stop worrying about it.

Please help what to do or could signs of "C"

  • I can't offer any medical advice but if you can't go to your doctors surgery how about a sexual health clinic or (GUM) genitourinary medicine ? You can ask for a male doctor. Could be you've picked up an infection or something.

  • Hi and thank you for your post,

I am sorry to learn that you are experiencing symptoms that are causing you concern.

As cancer information nurses we cannot provide a medical opinion. Only a doctor who can assess you and send you for any necessary tests can make a diagnosis.

It is important to know penile cancer is rare, and there could be several reasons for your symptoms other than cancer. However, it is best to be safe and get yourself checked. I appreciate it isn't easy to only be able to see one GP, but do keep persisting to get a face-to-face appointment and do let them know what your concerns are.

I hope you can get yourself checked soon,

    Take care,

    Jemma

  • Hi,

These are quite common symptoms with a number of potential causes. In the past I’ve had balanoposthitis which my GP says is common in diabetics - a condition I may have developed as a result of chemo and/or steroids.
Whatever it is, you need to get it seen by a clinician and sorted out soon because the pain and itching will drive you crazy.
If you’re too embarrassed to see your GP, go to your nearest walk-in centre or minor injuries unit.

    Best wishes
    Dave

    Hi Dave,

Many thanks for you're reply. I've made an appointment with my GP for Monday 30th Sept yesterday. Managed to get emergency appointment after explaining my symptoms and stress this causing me.

    I really appreciate your reply.

  • Morning Jemma,

Thank you for your reply and advice.  I managed to get an appointment with my GP for 30th Sept.

It's really been stressing me for the past weeks, hopefully it's only something minor and nothing to be worried about. But thank you.

    Regards
