I'm sorry to read about your grandson. This must be a difficult time for you all.

As a team of information nurses, we do not recommend treatment or say what the next steps will be as we are not involved in your grandson's clinical care and do not know all his medical details. We always suggest  discussing this with his specialist team.

If there is a specialist nurse involved in your grandson's care then perhaps they can provide further information. You often have to call and leave them a message and they will get back to you. They are usually happy to speak to relatives provided they have the parents consent.
