Hello what were your symptoms hope your OK
I have a prolapse and had a ring to hold it in place ....I have systems of lichen sclerosus
I have systems of www.nhs.uk/.../
Hi Ludi2021 and thank you for posting,
I am sorry to learn that you have a prolapse and are having symptoms of lichens sclerosus. Waiting for tests and results can also be difficult and stressful.
If you were referred urgently to the hospital ( on a suspected cancer pathway) you would normally expect to wait 2-4 weeks for biopsy results. Unfortunately, however, with the constraints and pressure of the NHS, we are hearing of people waiting longer.
It might be worth contacting the consultant's secretary, they might be able to advise you if the results are available, or you could perhaps check with your GP to see if they have heard anything.
I hope you do not have to wait too long for your results. Please feel free to get back to us if you need any more information or support. You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Take care,
Jemma
Thank you Jemma..
