I am sorry to hear about your friend. It is difficult to be too specific as we are not involved in your friend's care and don't have all her medical details. A lot will depend on whether she is able to have any treatment for her cancer and also her general health.

If she is able to have some treatment the doctors will need to see how well she responds to any treatment that she is given.

Everyone is so different so it is difficult to compare one person with another.

Your friend's doctors are the best people to advise about this as they are involved in her care.
