I have just had a CT Colonography at my local hospital due to being on warfarin medication . The test was on 02 September how long before I can expect to hear from the NHS hospital about the results ?
Scan results are usually available within 2 or 3 weeks .Unfortunately, we can't tell you exactly how long you will have to wait to get your results as there will be some regional variations in different NHS Trusts.
But, if you don't hear anything after 2 weeks, then do ask your GP to enquire, or ring the specialist/consultant secretary.

Thank you very much for your reply , what happens in the case where you are positive from the scan and have all the symptoms don’t they get back to you sooner cos I already tried my GP and they said that they didn’t refer me to the hospital which makes me confident and worried ?

I appreciate this is a worry for you but I would speak to the hospital department who carried out the CT colonography through the main switchboard. They should be able to look you up on the system to find out more.
