Advice on phesgo injection a week before surgery

Hi, I am a bit confused about whether I can have my phesgo injection, the week before my mastectomy and diep flap reconstruction surgery. I spoke the the hospital pharmacy, who told me oncology have said it's OK. However, when I spoke to macmillan nurse, she said you can't have it two weeks either side of the surgery. Any advice on this would be helpful. Has anyone had this issue and what happened about it?

    I am afraid that I do not know when you can have your Phesgo injection, I have looked at the advice from the drug company and the NHS and still cannot tell you when you should have it.

    Please do check this out with your breast team, they know much more about your situation than we do and will be able to advise you.
