Tongue cancer

My dad is waiting as he has found a little lump at back of his tongue he had a camara an an ultra sound the camara saw the tongue had sluth an lymph nodes tissue on the tongue the mri scan saw something on 2 lymph nodes he has no symptoms only a twinge in his ear an a bit of burning I am worried sick if it is tongue cancer is it ever treatable as I read stuff on the net that scares me

    I am sorry to hear about your worries about your dad and a potential diagnosis of tongue cancer.

    Waiting for tests, scans, and results can be difficult but unfortunately, until your father sees the doctors it is hard to say exactly what may be going on for him. Once they know what is the cause of the lump the doctors will create a plan suitable for your dad. Many different treatments can be used, depending on what the doctors find.
