  • Welcome to the forum tea4me although I'm sorry to hear about your dad and how he is feeling today.

Our nurses won't be back online until tomorrow, so if you are in need of urgent medical advice this evening do make sure you contact the NHS on 111, your dad's out of hours GP service or if you have any contact numbers for them, someone from his medical team.

I hope you are able to get the support and advice you are seeking and that your dad starts to feel better soon.

    Kind regards,

  • Hello and thanks for posting,

I can appreciate your concern. Unfortunately, we can't provide specific medical advice about his symptoms.

It does sound like he needs to contact his GP who can assess him. These symptoms could be due to different things, so it is important that a doctor assesses him.

Any new chest pain should be reported, in case it is a heart or lung problem. Out of hours ring NHS 111 for urgent medical advice.

    I hope this helps,

Please get back to us if you need any more information or support.  You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline.  The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Yours sincerely,

    Vanda
