I have bilateral breast cancer. The left side is misbehaving and I've had two lateral shaves. The latest result shows "Intermediate Grade DCIS measuring 9mm in aggregate 0.5mm to new margin" (have been able to see it via GP) What does this mean?

Unfortunately, we are not able to interpret the pathology specimen description as to the margin. This would need to be explained by a breast surgeon.
