Hi I have been taking letrozole for about three weeks now and have noticed my muscles are sore and I have started to develop leg cramps when I go to bed at night is there a supplement I can take for this alongside the letrozole xx
I'm sorry you're experiencing muscle pain and leg cramps since starting letrozole treatment.
Unfortunately as we are not involved in your clinical care we are unable to recommend any treatment or supplements and suggest you speak to the breast care team at the hospital. We always advise patients to be very cautious when it comes to supplements as these may cause more harm than good and possible interact with other medications you may be taking.
The breast care team and pharmacists are usually the best people to advise about what is safe to take in terms of supplements alongside hormonal treatment.
