Test results from pet scan after having chemo have come back , i have recieved text of nurse saying to meet consiltant monday and she will be there. The message also suggested bringing someone with me. What does this mean worried out of my mind
I'm sorry you're feeling worried and it's natural to feel that way after receiving a message like that.
Usually when you are asked to bring someone with you to the hospital, it means that they have information to share about your test results. Bringing a friend or family member with you can provide you with emotional support and help you process and remember everything that is discussed.
Easier said than done but try and take one step at a time until you see the consultant. Some people find talking it through with family and friends and keeping busy can sometimes help but try and do what you can to de-stress.
