I cannot say what pain medication someone may be on, as it very much depends on the situation and what type of pain it is.

There are many different types of pain and different types of pain relief. We have more information about what cancer pain is and how it is treated 

I am unsure what your situation is and whether you are asking for yourself or if it is someone you know. If someone has pain the best person to discuss this with would be the cancer specialist, nurse specialist or GP so they can assess the pain and prescribe any necessary pain relief.
