Lumpectomy

I had an operation last thursday to remove the Lumpectomy and a Lymph node very sore.

Just waiting for the results which is 4 to 5 weeks.

Everything has been a shock and i am very worried.

Also how soon can i wear a bra after my operation.

    Hi Haideesmum, Hope you are keeping well. Yes i am ok. Been busy we are moving house just waiting for the completion date. Hope to be in before xmas. Been on my feet a lot. I am on the letrozole for 5 years. Last week my ankle was swollen i dont know if i have done 2 much. I did read somewhere that the tablets swell your joints. Not sure. Nearly christmas. Take care.

    Hi Haideesmum, hope you are well. My yearly mammogram is coming up go on Friday 24th April. I am a bit worried but last years come back clear.

    Hi Peggy, mines due in June. Its a worrying time but I'm sure we will both be fine and if not, then at least it's caught early. It's been 2 years for me and I still feel like I'm trying to get back on my feet. It's a losing battle, the anastrozole has given me high cholesterol and thr statins have given me more joint pain. The gift that keeps on giving. You have to laugh or you'd cry. But we're here and surviving so can't complain. Good luck on your results, I'm sure you'll be fine ! Xx
