My mum has small cell lung cancer she now can’t move her arms legs , she is asleep all the time and will not eat she has only had a sip of fluid , all day she is confused and can only whisper a few words , is this what the end of life is
I am sorry to hear about your mum. We cannot say if your mum is now at the end of life. The symptoms she has could be signs of this but there are other things such as infection that can also cause similar symptoms.
It is important that your mums team are made aware of a change in her. Whether your mum has a community nurse that can be called or her GP so they can come and assess her as to what may be going on.
