What is the most effective chemo for breast cancer that has metastasised to the peritoneum? I have read that intro peritoneal chemo can effectively treat other cancers in the peritoneum. Can it work with breast cancer?

There are a number of different chemotherapy drugs given for breast cancer. Chemotherapy travels around the body treating breast cancer cells anywhere in the body including the peritoneum.
While peritoneal chemotherapy can treat other cancers such as the ovary and peritoneum it is not a standard treatment for breast cancer.
Your specialist will decide on the most appropriate chemotherapy drug or combination ( more than one chemotherapy drug ) based on your individual situation.
