I am sorry to learn of your dad's situation this must be a difficult time.

As nurses not involved in your dad's care we cannot say whether or not PDT is a suitable treatment.  A lot will depend on the size of the cancer and its position. This is something you would need to discuss with your dad's skin specialist as they know his situation.

Some people may find it helpful to ask for a second opinion, this can be arranged either through your dad's skin specialist or through his GP.
