I am sorry to hear about your dad's situation, it sounds like you are unsure exactly what may be going on.

Unfortunately as no one here is involved in your dad's care it is difficult to comment on what will happen next. It seems the doctors wish to do some more tests to find out more about what the matter is but if your dad is declining them it may be difficult for the doctors to get answers.

I would suggest having another chat with your dad to ask more questions and if he is unsure with his permission perhaps you could speak with the doctor involved.

I hope you get some more clarity soon.
