  • Hello Andrew and thanks for your post

I’m sorry to read about your diagnosis and the effect it is having on your mental health.

I'm not sure what steps you have already taken to get some help, but if you haven't, do talk to your GP or healthcare team to ask for their input and let them know how much you are struggling. There are a range of mental health services that you can be referred to to including counselling, so do arrange an appointment so that you can speak to them to ask for their help.

We do have information on our website on getting support  for your mental health.

Some people find it helpful to join online forums where they can talk to people in similar situations. The organisation Lymphoma Action support people affected by lymphoma, and you may find it helpful to get in contact with them.

I hope this is of some use. Please get back to us if you need any more information or support.  You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline.  The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Kind regards,

    Celene
