Hi, can you please provide some advice on whether Complan would be available on prescription in the UK. My mum has T4 lung cancer and is struggling to eat, she has lost weight but these shakes are expensive.
Hi, sorry to hear your Mum is going through this. My Mum is too. She is prescribed ensures ( she said these are nicer than complan) twice a day so definitely speak to the GP. Wishing you all the best x
I am sorry to hear about your mum, this must be a difficult time.
Whilst I can't say if complan is available on prescription there will be other nutritional drinks/supplements that the doctor can prescribe for your mum, so do ask them.
