As an information nurse not involved in your care, I cannot comment on why you have not been told you are having myeloma screening. If it is possible I would ask to speak with the GP who has arranged this for you so they can explain why this has been requested.
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I have got an appointment now for the 12th of july. But yesterday I had a bit of a shock because my partner picked the blood form request up. There was no explanation or anything. I've calmed down a bit today so sorry for troubling you
