How to accept it’s cancer
Hello and thanks for posting
Coping with a CLL diagnosis can be difficult. There’s really no right or wrong way to feel. But we know that talking can often relieve some of the distress and anxiety.
There is help and support available and we have information about cancer and emotions and tips for coping. There's also some useful advice on Macmillan Cancer Support's website on talking about cancer.
The CLL Support Organisation provides information and support to people with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and their carers. It also promotes research into the treatment of CLL.
The charity Leukaemia Care provides information and support to people affected by leukaemia and you may be able to connect with other people going through similar things.
I hope this is of some help to you. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Kind regards,
Celene
