I had Uro-sepsis in November 2023 with a PSA>10. I had urological cancer investigations in January. I was told I a border line malignancy.

I had an MRI scan that showed 2 shadows on the zone and zone 2 areas. Uro-dynamics identified a significant finding bladder voiding and detention. I went on to develop problems open my bowel followed excruciating pain opening the bowel.

In April an infiltrative neoplasia was found on a the bone marrow of spinal disc.  It was thought it could be prostate cancer metastasis. In June 2024 a CT scan was performed and it was thought it was a metastasis.

Three months have passed and no cancer service referral has been made.  Me and my partner are besides myself with worry. The symptoms started last summer and year has been lost.  I feel tired all the time mostly confined to bed.

i don’t know what to do and I have considered ending my life.

  • Hi Harry, and thank you for posting.

I am sorry you have been suffering from these symptoms, and that you have not heard about any appointments about the results of the scans you have had.

Unfortunately, we are unable to diagnose, so I would encourage you to get in touch with your GP and let them know that you have not heard anything about any referrals and also to tell them about the worry you have.

I hope you can speak with your GP soon. In the meantime  The Samaritans are there for people who feel things have just got too much, and if you are feeling so low you must talk to someone who can hear you. You can call them on 116 123, 24 hours a day.

Take care, Harry. if you want to talk anything through we also have a helpline, the number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040. The lines are open from 9 am till 5 pm Monday to Friday.

    Take care

    Sarah.
