I am sorry to hear about your situation.

When you talk about the 'red devil' I presume you mean doxorubicin. This drug has been around for a very long time. The dose will be worked out by your surface area and so the dose is specific for you. You may well have heart tests before you start having this drug to make sure you are fit and well. 

With any drugs that you are given you will be closely monitored. Even though side effects for drugs are listed not everyone gets them. The doctors will be aware of any side effects and if it looks like it is having an effect on your heart then the drug will be reviewed or stopped.

I would talk to the doctors involved in your care and let them know about any concerns that you have. Doxorubicin has been successfully given to many patients so try not to think the worst.
