Your specialist team are better placed to advise you on this as they are familiar with all your medical details. But they may advise you to wait until your mum has fully recovered from her chest infection before you visit her.
If you have a lung specialist nurse involved in your care then perhaps they can provide you with further information. You often have to call and leave them a message and they will get back to you.
