I am sorry that you are struggling with panic attacks, and can understand you would want support with this.

Radiotherapy doesn't necessarily cause panic attacks, but the diagnosis of cancer is incredibly overwhelming and can affect your mental health in many ways. Do talk through this change with your specialist nurse or hospital team in case there is some in-house support that you could be referred to or medication that might help.

Macmillan offers counseling support through Bupa and Mind, the mental health charity, has a lot of information on its website if helpful.
