Hi just wondered if it safe to use Olay or L'Oréal regenerist face cream whilst talking anastrozole. Or is there something more suitable to use for a 70 year old to keep skin looking good.

Hello and thanks for your post,
There are so many different ingredients that are now put in face cream that I would check with the pharmacist at your local chemist to check if any of the anti aging agents don't have any interaction with anastrozole.
I am sure that it will be fine but it is always worth checking specific ingredients in products.
I am not sure whether you have sensitive skin or quite dry skin but |I would also ask the advice of the pharmacist to see what they recommend.
We have some general tips on our website about how to care for facial skin
You have posted in 'ask the nurses' but if you post on another thread or start your own you m\ay find that you get tips from other patients.
I hope that this is helpful.
Do give us a ring if you want to talk any of this through.
Our helpline number is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm.
All the best,
Catherine
thank you very much Catherine.
