How likely is it that I will need chemo? I have just had a T2 4cm tumour resected. Next week I get the results of whether it has gone into the lymph nodes and therefore need chemo. Is this likely?
I am sorry to hear you recently had surgery and are awaiting to hear whether any of the cancer has gone to the lymph nodes.
Times like these are worrying but I'm afraid at this point in time no one can say whether the cancer is in the nodes or not. You really do need to sit tight for now and wait to speak with your specialist once the results are in.
