I'm sorry to hear you have noticed a change on your vulva that is worrying you.

Unfortunately no one here can say what this may be but there could be a number of possibilities. Any cancer would be rare at your age and vulva cancer tends to affect women after the menopause.

We always suggest people get new and ongoing symptoms checked out by their GP just to be on the safe side, so do this when you can. To be honest it may be a couple of weeks before you can get an appointment which hopefully will be after your exams have finished.

For now try not to over think things and put it to the back of your mind until you have spoken to your doctor. Remember you can request a female GP if you prefer.
