I have had a freckle on the back of my arm that was light brown for many years.

Lately I noticed it getting dark and raising. It has also developed a crusty area.

Not sure what is going on with it, I know it's unusual for my skin as I am relatively fair.

I have had several bcc's removed over a 6 year period. I am hoping this new lesion isn't cancerous.

What do you think?

I'm afraid as nurses we cannot diagnose or say what this change on your arm is due to. This needs to be checked out by your GP, just to be on the safe side.

You mention that you have been treated for BCC’s in the past. Your doctor will assess you and if necessary they can refer you to a skin specialist if needed.
