  • Hello Crystal_Mania and thanks for the post

I am sorry to hear about your situation, the waiting for test results and a plan of treatment is often an anxious time for most people.

I really hope you know more soon. Sometimes patients are discussed within a MDT ( Multi Disciplinary Team) setting where a group of specialists meet to discuss patients. These meetings aren't just for patients diagnosed with cancer but with pre cancerous conditions where there may be several treatment options moving forward.

Try and take things one step at a time for now, keeping yourself busy and your mind on other things can also help, but often easier said than done.

Please get back to us if you need any more information or support.  You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline.  The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Best wishes,

    Naomi
