I have the removal of a patch on my nose today although he said it was deeper than thought it was down to the cartlidge - does that become a sarcoma if it is deeper - lost a friend to sarcoma last year at 42 - just thought mine was a surface patch
The depth of the tissue removed does not indicate the type of cancer. It is the results of the biopsy which looks at all the tissue under a microscope by a histopathologist doctor that can say if there is cancer and what type it is.
