I am sorry to hear you are being sent for more tests after finding a lump in your armpit.

There could be many reasons for this other than cancer so try not to over think things too much for now.

You have done the right thing getting it checked out and now your doctor is sending you for a scan where this can be assessed further.

I hope you know more soon and that everything will turn out okay for you.
