Oral thrush

Hi, I started first of 3 sessions of adjuvant chemotherapy 10 days ago (next one due on 10th June). 3 days after chemo I started with quite prolific oral thrush. My GP has just prescribed fluconazole tablets for one week, but I just wanted to double check that it is safe to take these whilst on chemo. Thanks

    I am sorry to hear you are having chemo and suffering with oral thrush

    It is usually fine to take fluconazole whilst having chemo, if you have further concerns about this or the thrush isn't clearing up speak with your chemo team.
