I am unsure of your situation, and whether you have had a recent biopsy If it is the case that the biopsy results are known (whether it is cancer or not) it will usually be discussed whether treatment is needed and needs to be planned at an MDT (multidisciplinary team) meeting.

This takes place once a week and is a meeting made up of a variety of health professionals involved in treating and caring for patients, such as consultants who are surgeons, and cancer specialists, as well as nurses, and people who are involved in diagnosing such as pathologists and radiographers.
