Ultrasounds of the breast are reviewed by a radiologist specialising in breast ultrasound scans ( USS). USS are categorized from U1 to U5 depending on what the radiologist finds.
U3 means the radiologist has seen something on the USS but is uncertain what it is but it is probably benign.
